STATS API Developer Portal Developer Blog

Announcing our updated Developer Documentation portal

We're happy to announce that our STATS API Developer Documentation portal has had a facelift, effective 1 September 2020.

You shouldn’t experience any downtime with the portal - we’re just making a few changes to improve how it looks and some of developer content on offer, too.

When is the update effective from?

Our fresh new look goes live on Tuesday 1 Sepember 2020, from 08:00 US (ET) / 07:00 US (CT) / 05:00 (PT) / 13:00 UK (GMT+1).

Things might look a bit funny at this time while they settle in, but it will be brief. If anything looks odd, just refresh the page or wait for 30 minutes. However, if you need to get in contact with us, please approach your representative.

What’s changing?

The main content under the hood won’t change (but we are in the process of updating that) – the main difference you will notice is to the main homepage and the general look around the site, such as the headers, logo, font face, and our new STATS PERFORM logo.

Our interactive IO documentation and the core content will still be available and the portal continues to be dedicated to STATS API customers. This is just the first step - in the coming months, we will be making further improvements to the content pages available to you.

Will I still be able to access My Account, IO Docs and technical content?

Yes. Nothing has changed here.

Use the Sign In link (still in the top-right corner) and your existing username and password. Once signed in, you’ll see your familiar 'My Account' link and links to the following pages:

  • GET STARTED - get an overview of some of the key guides to get you started, including Authentication information.
  • API DOCUMENTATION – where you’ll find our main developer documentation, user guides and other content (plus a few new ones).
  • DATA DICTIONARIES – available for each sport and league we offer.
  • INTERACTIVE APIS – get access to our IO docs and OpenAPI files to try out your API calls

From any of these pages, you can navigate to other pages using a menu on the left side of the screen.

What's coming next?

This is just the first of a number of exciting changes that we'll be making to the developer documentation portal, and we'll keep you updated on upcoming changes via our Developer Blog and by email.
